2024 year in review

A few stats and tid-bits to summarise 2024, mostly focused on the fleet side of things.

2024 was a big year for Transperth. I won’t be going into detail on the service-side of things but some highlights include:

• The opening of the Yanchep rail extension, which brought with it a rework and increase in bus services in the far Northern suburbs

• The opening of the Ellenbrook Line, which also brought with it a significant rework of most bus services in the Morley and Midland contract areas

• Bayswater Station re-opening and associated local bus service changes

• The introduction of C-Series trains on the North-South lines

• The introduction of electric Volvo BZL buses on Perth CATs
