2025 year in review

A few stats and tid-bits to summarise 2025, mostly focused on the fleet side of things.

Some highlights of service improvements/additions/changes for 2025 include:

• October 12th - The re-opening of the Armadale line and extension South to Byford Station

• June 9th - Services begin on the Thornlie-Cockburn line, the first East-West connection between lines

• The introduction of electric Volvo BZL buses on suburban route services (the two Joondalup ones don’t count 😉)

• The cessation of new diesel bus deliveries, with all future buses being EVs

• The introduction of the Surf CAT, the first free CAT service to service Scarborough Beach
